CANCELLATION POLICY

How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order online before the product is shipped for a refund of your entire order amount. You may drop an email to us or call us. Please cancel within 15 hours of placing the order and before dispatch as we normally dispatch within 24 hours of placing the order.

In case the item you have ordered has been shipped but has not yet been delivered to you, you may still cancel the order online. Your refund will be processed once we receive the originally ordered item back from the courier. In this case the amount will be refunded to you after deducting the Shipping Charges as per our Refund Policy.

Unfortunately, an order cannot be cancelled once the item has been delivered to you. However, you can avail the easy return policy for exchanging or returning the product. In case of refund the amount will be refunded to your burnish Shoes Online Credit Accounts. The amount can be used for shopping in future only at www.burnishleatherart.ae

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same by email.

If the Order Status shows the item(s) in your order as ‘Shipped’, we will process your cancellation request directly with our logistics partner. Your refund will be processed soon after we receive the cancelled items back from the courier.

The refunded amount will be made available immediately in burnish Shoes Online Credit Account.

All cancelled orders will be refunded back to burnish Shoes Online Credit Account. This amount can be used for shopping in future at www.burnishleatherart.ae.

You can always login to your account to check the statement under Credit Account section.

REFUND POLICY

What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?

In case you have paid for your order by Credit Card payment, we can either give you Online Credit or refund the amount back to your Credit Card.

For Cash on Delivery orders, we are unfortunately unable to refund the order by Cash and can process the refund amount by Online Credit only. For example, if you paid AED 200 as Cash on Delivery for an item, we’ll give you burnish Shoes Online credit for AED 200 after you’ve returned the item to us.

When Online Credit as a refund has been issued, you may check the amount in your Online Account and can use it to purchase another item.

Under what conditions is a refund processed?

When the order is cancelled before dispatch, the entire amount of the order will be refunded to burnish Shoes Online Credit Account.

When the order is cancelled after dispatch, the amount is refunded to the burnish Shoes Online Credit Account and applicable shipping charge will be auto debited from refund amount.

We offer free return or exchange pickup service for the first time. However, there will be nominal charge of AED 15 on every subsequent exchange/return request.

Return related refunds can be requested within 7 days of receiving the product by customer. Beyond this period the refund will fall in special case scenario and would require management consultation and approval.

Exchanges and Refund Policy for Sale and Clearance Items

I would like a refund for the items purchased during sale period?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer cash refunds for any items purchased during the sale or clearance sale period. However we offer refunds in the form of burnish Shoes Online Credit. This means that if you place an order and you are not satisfied by the product received, and require a refund, we will issue you online credit for the value of the item that you are returning.

For example, if you paid AED 200 for an item, we’ll give you burnish Shoes Online credit for AED 200 after you’ve returned the item to us and you can use this to purchase any other item Online.

What happens if I have received an incorrect item during the sale or clearance period?

In case you have in fact received an incorrect item during the sale or clearance period, firstly we apologize for the same.

Please contact our customer service with details of the incorrect item received. We may ask you for additional information like your order details and information about the incorrect item.

Once we send you a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) and receive the item back from you, we will arrange to send you the replacement item at the earliest.

Size and Item Exchanges during Sale and Clearance Sale?

In case you would like to exchange an item for the size during clearance sale, we will be happy to assist you in case we have the required size available.

However as the items are heavily discounted and priced for clearance, you will be charged courier charges for the item you require a size exchange.

Please note item exchanges or returns are not permitted during clearance sale.

My item purchased in the clearance sale appears a little old and I would like it exchanged?

In all cases items sent to you are inspected before dispatch and we endeavour to send you the newest piece which is available with us.

However in some cases the items in our clearance sale may appear a little old as they may have been on our shelves for a little while.

In this case as well, no exchanges or returns are permitted as the items are heavily discounted for clearance and we have very limited stock available.
